2023 Jeep Cherokee Release Date, Changes, Price

The year 2023 will be big for cars. And when I say cars, I mean SUV cars. In this article, we will introduce the 2023 Jeep Cherokee. This SUV is probably the most known one in the world, and it looks like FCA Company is stepping up the game even more.

They are planning to have redesigned, new Cherokee in mass production in 2023. And this time, they announced that it will be more self- driving than ever. That is enough time for us to guess and predict, but some of the features are already well known. So, let’s start with the exterior because the first impression is the most important.

2023 Jeep Cherokee Exterior

Even though this car is still a year away, we already know some of its features. Also, we already have the idea of the concept and the looks of it. We know that Fiat group doesn’t like to change winning formula so that we can expect something similar to the latest models.

The first thing that you see on a car are its headlights, and they should look identical as on the 2018 Jeep Cherokee. If it persists with being based on 2018 Cherokee, we should also expect the „Switchback“ signature lighting. Long and narrow lenses should still be the part of its rear taillights.

Looking from the sides, the body line will look more muscular. One new thing is definitely the new D- pillar with „shark fin” design. This design was presented with Compass and Renegade models. It should also have another old feature, and that is skylight sunroof similar to older models. Wheels should be pushed more to the outside of the body so that it could secure better handling. The overall size of the car should be similar to the models which are already in Jeep dealerships.

Interior

We know that Jeep hardly ever makes significant changes to its exterior, and that is a trend that we believe should continue with the 2023 Jeep Cherokee. If we could simply describe the interior of this SUV using only one word, that would be- cozy. There is a lot of space, including lower- leg space and foldable back seating, which can be meaningful when you are traveling on a longer distance.

The most important thing about the interior of this car is its gadgets. A twelve-inch vertical center screen is still only an option, but we believe it would be a great thing in a car this big. It will, of course, have a 360-degree view from the inside. It should use Uconnect systems for its programs and applications. Wi-Fi ports and wireless Bluetooth connections should be a part of this car, too. Even if this SUV is, most of all, an off-road vehicle, it offers the comfort of cab cars, and it really is a car for every terrain.

Engine

The engine is still relatively unknown, but there are some strong indications that 2023 Jeep Cherokee should use the Pentastar 3.6- liter V6 fuel, V6 eco diesel 3- liter and 5.7-liter Hemi V8 engine. 6.1-liter Hemi should only be available with SRT type of vehicle. The one thing that we also could see is the „torque” four-cylinder-turbo-plus-electric-motors setup to push the mileage of this SUV up, and it should also provide a backup to the diesel.

2023 Jeep Cherokee Release Date

The release date of 2023 Jeep Cherokee model is not yet defined, with some predictions going as far as 2022, and other ones predicting as soon as this year. Still nothing official from FCA. Whenever it comes out, it will be a revolutionary car, in the sense of more self-driving, if nothing else. So, even though release date still remains unclear, we are expecting to see it on roads by the end of 2023, to be honest. Once again, this is not final date; these are only our predictions.

Price

We said that the best thing about this car is its safety and comfort. But the worst thing, definitely, is the price. First of all, predictions go from $30,000 all the way up to $60,000. Of course, this depends on so many things, from engine version to gadgets installed, but the real price we should expect is somewhere about $35,000 to $40,000. It will not be cheap, but definitely a bit less expensive than other SUVs from its rank.
