2025 Land Rover Defender Price, Release & Design

2025 Land Rover Defender – Comeback of the Robust Icon!

Although they are currently built in England, India, China, and some other countries; Land Rover is still regarded as Great Britain’s iconic brand. The original production started in 1948, but one of the most profound moments came in 1951 when King George the 6th granted the company a Royal Warrant. So, even though a lot of time has passed since then till now, this company has stood still for many years manufacturing some of the most iconic SUVs. 2025 Land Rover Defender will be the next in line to represent this brand after it’s been one of Britain’s most bellowed products in the past.

Design

As far as the design goes, rumor has it that not much is changed compared to 2025 Defender’s predecessors. However, ever since the infamous “Jiangling Motors” incident in which the Chinese manufacturer basically copied the design of the Range Rover Evoque, Land Rover has been much more discrete and timid about revealing the look of their future vehicles. The 2025 Land Rover Defender is no exception, but some things are given by definition of the brand and others by inside info.

We do know that 2025 version of Defender will be offered in two wheelbases: 90-inch and 110-inch. There will also be a couple of body styles including soft and hard top, a 4×4 commercial, and perhaps a chassis cab for conversions.

However, all the sleek design add-on’s might be there, but it is still a Land Rover. Which means it is a primarily competent off-road car that comes with high ground clearance and approach and departure angles, and with a more than a robust chassis.

By the way, there was a lot of talks as whereas the latest Defender will be built and two factory’s lead in everybody’s opinion. Slovakia facility being one and Magna factory in Austria being the other.

Engine

It is still not disclosed by the Land Rover itself, but it is highly expected to 2025 version feature 2.0 liter Ingenium; ( since Ingenium is already confirmed to be a brand that goes under the hood) turbo-charged inline-four diesel engine. It comes with 200 horsepower and over 300 lb-ft of torque.

This is by far the most expected but not the only choice for the secretive British company and their new baby boomer.
The other logical choice would be Jaguar’s 3.0-liter supercharged V-6 available with 340 up to 380 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque. This could easily end up as the engine for the 2025 Land Rover Defender, which would putt him above its direct competitors. What choice will eventually be made, is yet to be revealed.

2025 Land Rover Defender Pricing and Release Date

Like everything else, regarding this vehicle this too is surrounded by a veil of secrecy but judging by some previous models and some hints that this Defender will have a bit of more 70-year celebration of the brand vibe into it, it is expected that the base model will be somewhere around $45,000.
It is pretty unclear when Land Rover plans to release 2025 Defender, but by the information gathered so far; it arrives in dealer shops in the fall of next year as 2025 model.
