2023 Subaru Forester Price, Release, Interior

The 2023 Subaru Forester has arrived. This fifth-generation model is based on Subaru’s new Global Platform, and the 2023 Forester’s slab-sided body panels look liked they were borrowed from the previous installment. Now we do not have to guess how the car will look like and what are the specifications of the engine since the new model was released in the New York Auto Show a few months ago.

It is thoroughly redesigned inside as well as outside. Meanwhile, the other features are updated, and passenger and cargo room are increased with an advanced safety technology system. It’s not likely that the Subaru Forester will come out on top in a fight with Toyota RAV4 and Honda CR-V in the top sales department, but it remains and will be one of the world’s favorite Sports Utility Vehicles.

Design

2023 Subaru Forester gets a new design, but it is still very similar to the previous model year. There are some minor changes which include the taller grille, new taillights, a new bumper as well as new body cladding around the wheels. So it could provide the flexibility to handle any adventure, the Subaru raised the roof rails.

This precedes that unloading large items is easier than ever. Of course, without an extra-wide rear gate opening, this wouldn’t be possible because now you can haul up to 76.1 cubic feet of cargo space. If the items are larger, the rear seats can be folded flat.

The interior of the Forester is upgraded, and now it has that sophisticated look with high-quality, soft-touch materials and contrast stitching throughout. The level of comfort and enjoyment is increased with added rear legroom and an available panoramic moonroof.

It offers a standard 6.5-inch screen or an available 8-inch screen, now compatible with the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. With Pandora® integration, plus SiriusXM® All Access Radio, it is all connected to STARLINK Multimedia. Wireless pairing and hands-free smartphone operation make easy for you to stay connected to the road and safely manage the music, navigation, podcasts, and much more.

We must mention the new 2023 Forester Sport which rides on the unique 18-inch wheel with exclusive LED lighting. It also gets bold design elements on its exterior and sophisticated cabin upgrades inside.

Engine

Updated SUBARU BOXER engine is related to standard symmetrical all-wheel drive option. Drive creates stability and delivers the power for maximum traction to provide more comfortable handling; efficiency, and adaptability to the road. This engine offers efficiency without sacrificing capability of 182 horsepower and up to 33 MPG. Thanks to 2.5-liter BOXER-four, it gets 176 lb-ft of torque which is a slightly stronger than the current one. By now, the Subaru used the six-speed manual transmission. It is now replaced with a CVT gearbox which simulates a seven-speed manual.

Specs

In this era of vehicles, we cannot imagine the car without safety system. In the 2023 Subaru Forester is now available EyeSight Driver Assist Technology as a standard. It monitors traffic movement, optimizes cruise control, and warns you when you’re swaying outside your lane. Meanwhile, there is also the Pre-Collision Braking feature which helps you avoid the potential collision. With the Subaru Driver Focus, you cannot be distracted even if you are a beginner.

It is like having an attentive co-pilot along for the ride who can recognize up to five different drivers and remember their preferences. There’s also the new STARLINK Safety and Security plus Concierge service. Furthermore, there are options such as STARLINK Safety and Security plus Concierge service; SOS Emergency Assistance, and Remote Engine Start with Climate Control.

2023 Subaru Forester Price & Release

Like we already noted at the beginning the new 2023 Subaru Forester was released in the New York Auto Show a few months ago. It is highly likely to arrive at the dealers by the end of the year. It is not early to talk about the price, but Subaru still doesn’t want to share it with us. With this in mind, take a look back to the current model which costs $24,710 for a base model with the CVT. The 2023 model year might be a few hundred more expensive because of due to some improved features.
